Dear SRC, why meeting?

We have got messages left by Mr. Larry, Deputy President of SRC, requesting for a meeting.

However, we have no clues on why SRC holding this meeting. Just like what we have been stressing all these while, students shouldn't do things blindly. So, what are the agenda of the meeting? What do you wish to achieve from the meeting?

Our messages are targeting at vast population of students who are crazy with breaking non-constructive records, which bring no benefits to the society and humankind. The Kebab event was the largest, meaningless and yet most lavish one that incurred this awareness campaign. The Kebab record is inane and it has shown the superficiality of students' mentality. It's just a very good example for us to bring the issue up.

We wish to stimulate the students start thinking and try to abate the record-breaking fanaticism.

Dear SRC, have you read our previous post entitled 'Some Clarifications'? If so, why are you requesting for a meeting?

Dear my friends,

I am Robert Lua. I am ex-president of Gabungan Anak Muda dan Pelajar, JERIT.

I am quite shock and paying highly attention to your campaign.

Because I seldom see students of MMU stand up to fight for the poor and anti-corruption.

But now when I see your blog, I feel our country got hope.

So, may I and my friends get your contact?

May be we can know each more and do more than that.

Thanks.

Guys,

It is good that you stick with your objectives, to spread awareness. Good job.

Yet, I don't understand why you want to confine yourself within the stage of awareness. My doubt is: are you going to spare your entire life to work on spreading awareness by yourself?

In 1980's, CFC has been aware of its harmful effects that could deplete the Earth's ozone layer. However, the complete elimination of CFC is only succeed through the enactment of Montreal Protocol consented by all countries, worked out for 9 continuous years.

Frenzy, awareness can work out more effective and substantial with amendment. My suggestion is based on what I perceived to be effective to rectify the issues that you guys had brought up.

Awareness alone aint enough to make the country advance, either. =P

Chezzie, you are right that this is the “predictable” act of SRC. You may sound sarcastic yet it is a proper act, my friend.

I have to agree with wengleong, awareness doesn't do much.

Honestly speaking, I was kind of expecting the campaign to actually achieve something concrete, like re-establish a new set of guidelines or something.

Oh well.

izzit you guys who put the 2 banners around MMU campus? http://www.merdekareview.com/news.php?n=3868
I do agree of what you're trying to let MMU students realize...but if the banner really come from you guys, I think it's a harsh action that can't solve anything in return.
Jz a piece of opinion.

I totally support ur this campaign. Because of I also see they just use one plastic to pack all the kebab and put it outside to give student. I go around 10pm and I still see alot of kebab there. My friends take 1 to eat and they say cannot eat oredi. WTF? this much thing jz throw it like that? THis is because of what? the RECORD which our HONOR university student pursue with? Who the hell to organise this? They still aware that in around the world still got alot of children die because of hungry? A children die every 6 seconds...Can you imagine??!?!?!you put one kebab on the table and count 1...2...3...4...5...6 then one die...u do the same again another die again. Our dear university student can you use that time to save the children and the earth?

COULD YOU ALL MAKE A MEANINGFUL RECORD WHICH CAN HELP THIS SOCIETY?EARTH?

thanks...

dear blog owner,

up to this point, you may have realize something, your campaign isnt progressing anywhere or anyway.

This is the boleh-land, the problem you are trying to raise and solve here very much reflect our community itself. THat's the bolehland's mentality.

you know what i mean, so just get on with it, might as well concentrate with your personal goal and let it be... nothing can be changed, history proven and is repeating... in a loop

*cough* jogoya career fair *cough*
